What to Expect at Our Floral Arrangement Workshop

One of our favorite moments is watching everyone's reaction as they walk into the workshop. They're greeted by buckets of fresh, seasonal blooms; many of which you won't typically find at the grocery store. Before the class even begins, there's already so much excitement as friends and family reconnect, admire the flowers, and settle in for a fun afternoon together.

Our workshops are meant to feel relaxed and welcoming. We put on some great music, hand everyone a pair of clippers, and before long the room is filled with conversation and laughter. It's a fun and unique experience where you can slow down, catch up with the people you love, and enjoy making something beautiful together.

As we build a garden-inspired centerpiece, we'll walk you through each flower variety and explain how different shapes, sizes, and textures work together to create a balanced arrangement. We'll also share the flower recipe formula we use in our own designs, so you'll leave with a better understanding of how to recreate the look at home.

One of my favorite parts of every workshop is seeing everyone's personality come through in their arrangements. Even though everyone starts with the same flowers and the same number of stems, no two centerpieces ever turn out alike. It's always so much fun watching everyone admire each other's work and seeing just how different every design becomes.

We also teach you one of our favorite eco-friendly floral techniques using a reusable chicken wire sphere instead of traditional floral foam. It's not only better for the environment, but it's also much more forgiving for beginners because you can easily adjust your flowers as you design. Best of all, you get to take it home and keep practicing with fresh flowers whenever you feel inspired.

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with more than a beautiful centerpiece. You'll leave with new skills, the confidence to create arrangements on your own, and memories of a fun afternoon spent with the people who matter most.

Why We Love Hosting Floral Workshops

When we started hosting floral workshops, we simply wanted to create a fun reason for people to gather. There aren't enough opportunities to slow down, spend time with the people you love, and try something new together.

One thing we've loved is hearing from people after the workshop. Weeks or even months later, they'll send us photos of the arrangements they've made at home or tell us they've started picking up flowers at the market just because they finally know what to do with them.

The goal of the class isn’t for you to recreate the exact arrangement you made in class. It's to help you understand the principles behind floral design: how to choose flowers that complement one another, create movement, and build an arrangement with confidence.

We also teach you how to design using a reusable chicken wire sphere, an eco-friendly alternative to floral foam that you get to take home. Instead of creating one arrangement and calling it a day, you'll have the tools to keep practicing whenever fresh flowers catch your eye.
