Floral Whimsy Meets Spanish Charm
From fruit-filled florals to sculptural ikebana centerpieces, this style shoot in San Clemente reimagines wedding design for the modern and fun romantic.
Set against the sun-washed arches of Agape 1928, we crafted a wedding editorial that pushes against the expected. Our team leaned into a playful, summer style to complement this unique venue. Traditional ceremony rows were swapped for an unconventional seating layout. Whimsical details like wired hyacinth florets, spiral-cut orange peels, and clusters of grapes set the scene. Flower-filled baskets, intricate floral frog arrangements, and fruit-centered styling, came together to create something far from ordinary.

Designing With Agape 1928 in Mind
Nestled alongside the San Clemente sea, lies Agape 1928, a Spanish villa complemented by creamy whites, sandy browns, and ocean blues. Our bursting summer fruit design was inspired by the seaside venue itself, noting its organic architectural shapes, round arches, and earth tones. The warm summer light was reflected in our choice of sunset tones and design concepts.

Florals That Surprise
We don’t do cookie-cutter, and this shoot was no exception. Our floral design leaned into whimsy, texture, and surprise. Flower-filled baskets were intentionally placed for spatial harmony, while ikebana-inspired centerpieces brought sculptural movement to the reception tables. We incorporated bunches of grapes, citrus peels, even wired hyacinth florets for a playful, sensory element. Each detail was designed for couples craving something bold and artful.

From Mood Board to Reality
We love a good Pinterest board, but our favorite thing is bringing those dreams to life in new and exciting ways. For this shoot, we started with a playful, color-rich mood board full of layered textures, vibrant fruit, and soft garden blooms. By wiring individual grapes and curling orange peels by hand we got to create just the right touch of movement and fun. Every arrangement, every texture, every bloom was rooted in that original vision. The result was a design that felt cohesive, personal, and completely one-of-a-kind.
